FILMMAKER/commercial director MATT HOFFMAN (Ahs class of 1991) WAS A JUNIOR AT ASHLAND HIGH SCHOOL IN 1989 when the grizz won a state championship and watched his childhood friend and smurf matt wells kick the game-winning field goal against roseburg at autzen stadium. after 23 years in hollywood, matt recently returned to ashland with his wife, noelle, and their two kids, desmond and viva lu. they built a house behind the childhood home matt grew up in, where his parents, david and sabra hoffman, still live.
